About the Contois Reynolds Studio of Spokane, Washington...
Ann Contois and Steve Reynolds are refugees from "big city
life", having lived in very rural Wild & Wonderful West Virginia for over 25
years, and now ensconced in the Inland Northwest. Ann graduated from UC at Berkeley, and developed a love of art & design during extensive travels with her military family in Germany, Japan, and Cambodia. Steve is a graduate of Loyola University
in Baltimore, and was a professional photographer in Maryland & WV before becoming a glass artist and web site designer.

Our continuing artistic exploration
has taken us deeply into the realms of digital art and web page creation. This collaboration led to the founding of the Juried OnLine Arts Festival in July 1996, and EC Gallery in 1999. Our two web design studios Cyberfirms Web Development and Classic Website Design ~ have created the online presence for dozens of businesses, both large and small, in all walks of life.
As stained glass artisans, we blend glass with space age materials, to create contemporary
mirrors, windows, suncatchers, and jewelry of dynamic imagery. The Contois Reynolds Glass Studio won numerous awards at juried art shows around the United States during the 20 years spent exhibiting at festivals. We also completed many special commissions, including 39 stained glass windows for St. Mary's Presbyterian Church here in West Virginia. Since August of 2000 our handmade and originally designed glass work has been available to collectors exclusively via the World Wide Web.
"Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we're not. In either case the idea is quite staggering." ~ Arthur C. Clarke
